4worldlovers: It's been five years, and I am going for Umrah my only choice is "Le Meridien" Because of the following points:

1. Staff did not allow my mother who is senior citizen to make call

3. Coffee machine broke down during my first breakfast. Apparently the coffee wasn't great either. Watery.

5. My suite had no view at all. When I asked for haram view I was mentioned no suite has haram view. Poor designing.

6. On check out the security guard was constantly asking my driver to to take his car even though my mother was in the car and I was doing the check out formalities.

8. When I called to place order for in room dining I was mentioned that buffet is going on. It's nice to promote but the guy like mentioned me 4 times and at one point I was irritated.

Great experience at Le Meridien. Very close to the Haram with only walking distance. Breakfast was really good. Room is clean and modern. My only thought that should be special rates for long stays.
